2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1,3-Diol. Used in leave-on and rinse-off products such as creams, lotions, shampoos, rinses, wipes and towelettes. Acts as a preservative. Offers broad spectrum activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and mold, particularly effective against Pseudomonas species.
