Flamenco® Satin Red 460M

Mica (and) Titanium Dioxide (and) Iron Oxide. Flamenco® Satin Red 460M by Sun Chemical (DIC) is an interference pigment. This off-white powder with a pale red reflection is comprised of thin, precisely controlled films of titanium dioxide on mica to separate white light into its component parts and produce dual colors, one by reflection (red) and one by transmission (green). It provides subtle luster for matte-type and low luster formulations. It has small particle size, provides excellent coverage and a fine satin appearance. It creates complex color interplay when used with other colorants. Flamenco® Satin Red 460M finds application in color cosmetics and personal care products.
