Filling Spheres™ vegetal

Filling Spheres™ vegetal by BASF is an anti-wrinkle and smoothing agents. They are acacia microspheres that fill in wrinkles and lines. Dehydrated for better penetration, they swell up with water in the skin and fill wrinkles very quickly because of the volume increase. They also provide long-lasting hydration thanks to a micro-reservoir effect. They are composed of one very high-molecular weight biopolymer known for its hydrating and film-forming capacities: wheat protein. These spheres are very small and can penetrate the layers of the stratum corneum where they swell by taking up water evaporating from the skin via the phenomenon of trans epidermal water loss. Filling Spheres™ vegetal is used in anti-aging and facial skin care formulations.
