Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate. COSMEDIA® HP STARCH by BASF is an effective thickening, texturizing and styling agent. It is non-ionic, non-GMO, flexible, biodegradable biopolymer.

It is designed for use in emulsion preparations and different surfactant systems.
It is derived from modified natural starch and does not contain preservatives.
It is compatible with cationic, anionic and amphoteric ingredients.
It is resistant to broad pH range and tolerant towards electrolytes.
It is suitable for both hot and cold process. It contributes to pleasant sensorial profile.
It is recommended for sun protection, styling, shower & bath products, shampoos, liquid soaps, face care, face cleansing and conditioning applications.
It is also used in hand, body & baby care, antiperspirants & deodorants and after sun care.
