CETIOL® OE

Dicaprylyl Ether. CETIOL® OE by BASF is a flexible, fast spreading, waxy-dry emollient for skin and hair applications. It is a 100% renewable-based, readily biodegradable and silicone-alternative.

It provides good make-up removal efficacy and improves stability of fine emulsions.
It offers a dry skin feel and shows low solubility in water.
It is hydrolysis stable due to its ether structure.
It is suitable for rinse off renewable-based microemulsions due to a low polarity.
CETIOL® OE is used in antiperspirants & deodorants, baby-care & cleansing, face cleansing, body-, face- & color care.
Also used in shampoos, hair coloring, hair remover, sun protection, after-sun and self-tanning products.
