Diazolidinyl Urea. germall™ II preservative by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a preservative. It delivers efficient antimicrobial power and balanced, synergistic & boasting broad-spectrum protection. It is compatible with many other cosmetic ingredients. It provides broad-spectrum activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is effective at low dose. Suitable for body-care, color cosmetics, face & body washes, facial care & wipes and sun-care products. germall™ II preservative finds application in formulating leave-on & rinse-off formulas, hair-care products like conditioners, gels, mousses, novel stylers, shampoos and styling lotions/creams. It is halogen-, isothiazolinones and paraben-free grade.
