Vinylcaprolactam/VP/Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer. Advantage™ S polymer by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a film former and hair fixative. Offers a strong & durable hold, stiff feel and good flexibility. Provides excellent high humidity curl retention at low solids level and excellent shine. It has high propellant tolerance and formulates into both high and low VOC products. Advantage™ S polymer is used in alcohol-free styling products including setting lotions, styling mousses and gels.
