Red No. 28 D&C Lake

CI 45410. Red No. 28 D&C Lake by Alfa Chemistry is a preservative-free, non-GMO, organic, high-purity aluminum lake pigment. It is manufactured synthetically by alkaline hydrolysis of the parent tetrabromotetrachlorofluorecein. The dye is combined with aluminum to create a stable pigment (lake).

• It provides superior color purity, saturationery good dispersibility and no aggregate formation when dispersed in liquids.
• It can be tinted with titanium dioxide to create light red/pink shades.
• Red No. 28 D&C Lake is used in decorative cosmetic products including lip care, eye care, face makeups and soaps.
