Mica Powder (Alfa Chemistry)

Mica. Mica Powder by Alfa Chemistry is a GMO-free, preservative-free, sensory modifier, filler, and texturizer. It is translucent, matte, and colorless (not coated with titanium dioxide or iron oxides) bulking agent used in emulsions. It is mined from granitic pegmatites.

• It improves skin feel, slip, aids skin adhesion and reduces greasiness of oil-containing formulas.
• It can replace talc as filler and has good anti-caking properties (prevents clumping).
• It does not have glitter effect, from the mineral Muscovite.
• Mica Powder is used in makeup products, loose & pressed makeup powders, color cosmetics (lipsticks, eye cosmetics), creams, and lotions.
