Phenethyl alcohol (and) Caprylyl glycol. Stabil acts as an emollient, wetting, antimicrobial agent with skin-feel improver and mild fragrance properties. It is a multifunctional system with synergistic activity against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and molds. It is preservative-free and optimal for the design of self-preserving formulations and natural products with reduced irritant and sensitizing potential, in particularly suitable for emulsions, oil-based and surfactant-based formulations. It is very soluble in alcohols, glycols and polar oils, soluble in mineral oils and slightly soluble in water. Stabil is used in hair care (shampoos, lotions, conditioners), skin care (tonics, gels, lotions, creams, cleansings, oils), make up (foundations, lipsticks), sun products (sunscreens, suntans, after sun), bath products (shower gels, bubble baths, hand cleaners, intimates), baby care (shampoos, bath products, gels, lotions, creams, oils).
