Zea Mays Starch. QUEMINA 21.257 by AGRANA is a thickener. It is an instant (cold water swelling) waxy corn starch which is a special type of amylose-free corn starch that consist of amylopectin. It provides a soft and silky skin feel. It is a powder that can also be used for cold processed formulations. It is compatible with commonly used cosmetic raw materials. It is recommended for creams & lotions, hair gel/conditioner & moisturizers. The shelf life of the product is 24 months (max. 70 % relative humidity) is 36 months. QUEMINA 21.257 is ECOCERT accepted grade.
