Captex® 200

Propylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate. Captex® 200 by Abitec Corporation acts as an emollient, lubricant and skin feel modifier. It is a triglyceride formed from selected high-purity vegetable fatty acids and glycerin. It offers characteristics such as low viscosity, very good lubricity, very good stability, low irritation and relatively non-oily after feel. It provides rub-in and after feel that are aesthetically appealing and elegant, without tack or greasiness. Captex® 200 is used in skin care creams, lotions and other cosmetic products. It has a shelf life of 24-26 months.
