Phenyltrimethicone (and) Dimethiconol. Andisil® PTM 34 by AB Specialty Silicones is a phenyl modified silicone fluid. This high refractive index ingredient can be used in systems that require siloxane organic solubilizing agents. It provides improved film forming properties, cushion, lubrication, organic compatibility and spreadability. This ingredient offers skin protectant, tack reduction and wash off resistance benefits. It is suitable for clear formulations and pigment coatings. It slows water loss by creating a barrier on the skin. Also, increases shine and gloss in color cosmetics. This ingredient is recommended for conditioning and improved wet & dry combing and soft/supple feel. It is highly recommended for dry and damaged hair, improved texture, light residue/low build up and shine enhancing. Andisil® PTM 34 is used in antiperspirant & deodorant and sun care applications. It is highly recommended for leave-in conditioners and styling treatments. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
