Technical DataSheet | Supplied by 3V

Sodium Carbomer. Pre-neutralized polymer that can be used as thickener, stabilizer and suspending agent. Benefits and features: quick dispersion, no neutralizing phase, constant pH during the production process. Dispersions characterized by high viscosity and clarity Dispersions characterized by low viscosity at 0.2% or less and high viscosity at higher concentrations (0.5% or more). Disperse in water or in water/alcohol blend to obtain slight opalescent gels. To obtain emulsions, can be dispersed in the oil or in the water phase or directly in the emulsion. The addition of a water-soluble UV-absorber can help for preventing polymer degradation. pH achieved at 0.5% in water is around 7. If lower pH is required, little adjustments are possible by addition of acids but if a strong reduction of pH is needed, blend it with Syntalen M without any neutralization.
