HEDIONE® HC

Cyclopentaneacetic acid, 3-oxo-2-pentyl-, methyl ester. Acts as a fragrance ingredient. It has a unique powerful, floral note reminiscent of magnolia blossoms. It has wonderful booster effects. It has a strength far superior to that of the classical Hedione® due to its high cis concentration. It exhibits its character only in neutral pH conditions (5.5 - 7.0). Contains 0.05%% of BHT as stabilizer. It shows tenacity for 1 month on a smelling strip. It is used in fine fragrances, shampoo, shower gel, soap, etc.
