DARTANOL™

2-Buten-1-ol, 2-ethyl-4-(2,2,3-trimethyl-3-cyclopenten-1-yl)-. DARTANOL™ by Firmenich acts as a fragrance ingredient. It is a biodegradable, clean, sophisticated creamy sandalwood note with slight cedarwood characteristics. It is softer and more cosmetic than POLYSANTOL®, but less strong. It can be used at higher level than POLYSANTOL®. It gives a creamer and more cosmetic connotation than the preceding ones. It is excellent in combination with POLYSANTOL®. It gives the body to the sandalwood connotation as the others give the character and the strength on the top. It offers an excellent cost performance in all applications. It shows tenacity for 3 weeks on a smelling strip. DARTANOL™ is used in fine fragrances, shampoo, shower gel, soap. Complies with REACH.
