CYCLOMETHYLENE CITRONELLOL

3-Cyclohexene-1-propanol, .gamma.,4-dimethyl-. Acts as a fragrance ingredient. It has a soft floral note which relates closely to the petal character of muguet and rose. It can give soft floral effects in a very wide range of perfume types. Does not give a definite character of its own but develops and harmonizes the individual notes of almost any perfume. Contains no stabilizer. It shows tenacity for 1 week on a smelling strip. It is used in fine fragrances, shampoo, shower gel, soap, etc.
