UMC_Natural_AntioxidantUMC has developed Orah VITE, a synergistic composite plant base system containing natural tocotrienol and tocopherol to act as a strong antioxidant active in skin care formulations.

Orah VITE- New Active for Oily Skin

Orah VITE has Halal and COSMOS certification. Studies has shown that the new product has 55 percent more of antioxidant activity than the commonly used Tocopherol Acetate. Additionally, Orah VITE will reduce oily skin by 65 percent and have 23 percent decrease in pore size.

Orah VITE is a blend of natural Tocotrienols and Tocopherols in Medium chain triglycerides. Tocotrienol is one of the compounds of Vitamin E which is more effective than tocopherols due to a significant difference in their chemical structure. The unsaturation, double-bond, in Tocotrienol makes it more “aggressive” molecule. This difference in chemical structure makes Tocotrienols better suited for cosmeceutical and nutraceutical application in comparison to Tocopherols.

Naturally Obtained Safe Alternative

UMC’s new product is naturally obtained and is a safe alternative to commonly used antioxidants. It readily biodegrades and is perfectly safe for the environment. It is non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing in nature. It can be used in all types of personal care products and natural products where, claiming completely natural and biodegradable is a necessity.

In addition to this powerful antioxidant activity, Orah VITE also aids in pore-size reduction, decrease and balance sebum content as well as reduces moisture loss in skin.

Orah VITE is also a cost-effective alternative to the existing antioxidants. It has strong antioxidant properties as compared to the other antioxidants. The new product can replace and improve formulations with synthetic antioxidants including tocopherol acetate.
