Mibelle Biochemistry Launches Upcycled Ingredient to Combat Inflammaging

P2 Science Launches Innovative Bio-based Range of Pigment Dispersions


P2 Science, Inc. (P2) announced the launch of a range of bio-based and patented pigment dispersions under the tradename Citrosperse™.

The line of 10 color dispersions was developed in collaboration with American Colors, Inc. of Sandusky, OH, and is marketed exclusively by P2.

Like other P2 products, the Citrosperse™ range is built on P2’s proprietary Citropol® platform. As such, its supply chain extends back to upcycled forestry by-products from Forest Stewardship Council certified pine trees.

Sun Chemical Launches Plant-derived Colorants and Functional Ingredients


Sun Chemical has expanded its vast color portfolio to include six new plant-derived natural colorants and functional ingredients in its well-known SunPURO® line.

The plant-derived functional ingredients, SunPURO® Natural Vegetable Black and SunPURO® Natural Coconut, support natural claims in cosmetics and personal care formulas. SunPURO® Natural Vegetable Black offers non-nano detoxifying properties made from 100% upcycled coconut shell waste and SunPURO® Natural Coconut provides milky, plant-derived opacifying benefits for use in aqueous personal care formulations.

BASF’s Care Creations® has developed a natural and soft-solid emollient Cetiol® SoftFeel, an effective alternative to cosmetic-grade petrolatum based on renewable ingredients.

WACKER Presents Silicones for Waterless Formulation & Shampoo Concentrates


WACKER presented its new “Solids & Concentrates” line, on the new trend for solid-form or concentrated hair and personal care products at in-cosmetics Global which took place in Paris.

In the limelight were silicone products BELSIL® REG 1103 B, BELSIL® PF 100, and BELSIL® DADM 3240 E. As silicones enhance the properties and use of water-free or concentrated cosmetics and personal care products.

The “Solids & Concentrates” line comprised cosmetics provided in solid form or as a concentrated liquid. Such delivery forms are considered favorable especially when talking about sustainability. However, waterless personal care products or concentrates are not as convenient to use and are often not as effective as liquid, emulsion-based products.

Oat Cosmetics’ Waterless Hair Active to Decrease Fungal Activity on Scalp Microbiome


Oat Cosmetics has introduced new data on its active ingredient Glucaveen. Glucaveen is a powerful, waterless hair active that has proven efficacy and incredible credentials.

Merck Presented New Marine-derived Skin Care Ingredients at in-cosmetics Asia


Merck presented its two new cosmetic active ingredients RonaCare® JouvaMer and RonaCare® ReviMer, for the Asian Pacific market at this year's in-cosmetics™ Asia that took place in Bangkok from 1-3 Nov.

These two products have been developed from brown seaweed endemic to the Breton coast in France. They are both great boosters for well-aging and skin vitality and can be used within a wide range of topical products, from daily skin care to dermocosmetics. The products were recently launched in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

RonaCare® JouvaMer, an extract of Pelvetia canaliculata brown algae, is an anti-aging booster that reduces wrinkles by stimulating collagen synthesis. Additionally, it protects and supports the extracellular matrix for denser, smoother skin.
