Tagra Biotechnologies launches a new range of encapsulated pigments for dark skin tones DeeperCaps™. DeeperCapsᵀᴹ encapsulates color pigments that match dark skin tones and allow cosmetic manufacturers to effectively turn existing product lines into in-demand color cosmetics for people with dark skin.
DeeperCaps™ will help cosmetic manufacturers who find it challenging to create black and brown skin cosmetic products. As a result, men and women of color lack the proper cosmetic products they need for tones.
Facilitating Formulations to Match Natural Skin Tone
DeeperCaps™ facilitate formulating cosmetic products. The microcapsules prevent any unintentional mixing of the pigments during the formulation process and any unwanted results. When the Deeper Caps™ capsules are finally broken upon application, they present a perfect skin tone match and natural tone, while adhering effortlessly to the skin, leaving no white-cast effect.
They can be used in existing products to turn any product into a color cosmetic without needing to install a dedicated production line or expensive cleaning equipment. Creams, gels, and more can have a large color range.
Tagra’s polymer shells are flexible, durable, and break only upon application. There is no leakage, color change, or breaking during production. These capsules are preservative, surfactant, and allergen-free. They are made using cellulose-based, biodegradable polymer, and they are not tested on animals, nor do they contain animal-derived materials.
The innovation will be showcased at in-cosmetics Global in Paris booth #C33 and in the Innovation Zone.
