Sun Chemical will showcase new effect pigments and highlight its natural colorants and ingredients under the campaign theme Beauty is colorful, during New York Suppliers’ Day 2023.
Intense Bold and Ultra Glittering Color Travel for Striking Finishes
Visitors of Sun Chemical booth #203 will be introduced to SunPRIZMA™, a new collection of 11 silica-based color travel effect pigments. Offered in two particle size ranges, this innovative line offers high coverage, multi-chrome effects for intense bold looks and ultra glittering color travel for striking finishes. With SunPRIZMA™ effect pigments, formulators will be able to create chromatic color shifts with extraordinary effects in color cosmetics.
Sun Chemical will also showcase its new Reflecks™ Dimensions Platinum G13CD, a silver, sparkling, metallic-like effect pigment based on borosilicate. Reflecks™ Dimensions Platinum G13CD is a new addition to the blackened effect pigment line, created by patented technology, which embeds the absorption colorant into the coating layers. This allows formulators to simplify their product development and accelerate commercialization timelines.
In line with today’s influential trends in the cosmetic industry, Sun Chemical will also feature its
SunPURO® Naturals and chromatic orange effect pigments, Flamenco® Summit Orange O80D and Reflecks™ Dimensions Metallic Orange GO80D.
The recently launched line of SunPURO® Naturals expands Sun Chemical’s naturals portfolio with new plant-derived natural colorants and functional cosmetic ingredients. Adding to the Flamenco Summit family of high chroma interference effect pigments,
Flamenco Summit Orange O80D is a bright new orange interference effect pigment based on 100% U.S. mica. Reflecks Dimensions Metallic Orange GO90D is a bold, orange metallic effect pigment based on borosilicate flake with intense dazzling sparkle.
