SILAB Exfoliating AgentSILAB presents new efficacy data for EXFOLACTIVE®, an exfoliating active ingredient. It is obtained from an organic supply chain of nopal (also called prickly pear) flowers that reactivates the endogenous processes of desquamation.

Boosts Natural Exfoliation Capacity

The desquamation process attenuates with age and dead cells accumulate on the surface of the skin. The complexion becomes dull and microrelief irregular.

Based on an approach in vitro and in vivo, EXFOLACTIVE®:

  • Boosts the natural exfoliation capacity of the skin, weakened by aging, by stimulating the activity of desquamation enzymes
  • Promotes cell renewal and eliminates scales for an optimal cutaneous barrier function

The skin of Caucasian volunteers is smoothed and hydrated and the complexion is more radiant and uniform. Scar marks observed in Asian volunteers are visibly attenuated.

The benefits of this natural exfoliation are equivalent to those obtained with reference molecules used for chemical scrubbing, without their unwanted side effects.

With its gentle and effective exfoliating action, EXFOLACTIVE® is a patented solution (Hydrolyzed Opuntia ficus-indica Flower Extract), recommended in all facial and body beauty care. This active ingredient has a content of natural origin superior or equal to 99% (ISO 16128) and respects biodiversity regulations. Available in aqueous solution (recommended amount: 2 to 4%), it is compliant with international cosmetic regulations (Europe, United States, Japan, China, etc.).
