Used as an Effective Solubilizer for Fragrances and Essential Oils
SEPICLEAR G7™ is a 100% naturality, readily biodegradable, non-ethoxylated and preservative-free low viscous liquid, easy to handle and cold processable used as an effective solubilizer for fragrances and essential oils with non-foaming properties. It has makeup removal ability and allows to obtain thinner cream gels without having an impact on the viscosity.
The last years, consumers have been looking for finished products with a short INCI list, free from any controversial ingredients, with a minimal impact on the environment and a high natural content to be reassured. Hence, formulators have to adapt their selection of ingredients.
Challenge tests carried out in accordance with ISO 11930, proved that SEPICLEAR G7™ allows to reduce the dosage of preservatives to reach criterion A. Hence, formulators would be able to use less preservatives while obtaining the same protection.
Its preservative boosting properties can be explained thanks to its hydrotrope property which increases the preservative solubility in formulations and decreases the water activity, thereby boosting the performance of the preservatives.
