P2 Science, Inc. launches Citropol® F, patented bioderived aroma compound designed to increase fragrance performance. The production of a new ingredient has started at P2’s manufacturing plant in Naugatuck, and the U.S. Samples and product literature are available at the company’s website.
Citropol® F- Biodegradable Ingredient
Dr. Patrick Foley, P2’s chief science officer introduces the ingredient through a video presentation entitled “Increase Fragrance Stamina”. Citropol® F like other compounds of Citropol platform is bioderived, biodegradable and biocompatible.

Citropol® F Solubilizes Essential Oils
Citropol® F has a light odor and is the one of the firsts fragrance fixative and carrier to come out of the Citropol series. The ingredient can solubilize and present a wide variety of essential oils and fragrance ingredients.
Fragrance solutions crafted with Citropol® F have an immediate and strong initial impression, as well as a controlled release of volatile ingredients over an extended period. Citropol® F also provides exceptional hydrolytic stability.
