Like other P2 products, the
Citrosperse™ range is built on P2’s proprietary
Citropol® platform. As such, its supply chain extends back to upcycled forestry by-products from Forest Stewardship Council certified pine trees.
“
There has been a huge need in the market for pigment dispersions that are both super-high performing and built on sustainable dispersion technology,” said Neil Burns, CEO of P2. “
By working closely with our partners at American Colors, we have more than met that need. Citrosperse™ dispersions have very high pigment loading, remarkable color intensity and of course are built on Citropol® technology that is biodegradable, biorenewable and biocompatible.”
“American Colors is excited to be reaching new markets by partnering with an award-winning, breakthrough manufacturer in the Cosmetics and Personal Care space.” Said Kayla Eyer, business development director at American Colors.
“ACI’s expertise in colorants and commitment to quality and service has been a great pairing with P2’s Citropol® technology and market presence. We expect this to be a winning formula for years to come.”
The Citrosperse™ launch brings the total number of products launched by P2 to 25 since April 2020. The Citrosperse™ product line is part of P2’s Plant a Forest initiative, where P2 plants a tree for every kilogram of product sold. Each tree removes about 1 ton of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere during its life.
Commercial production of Citrosperse™ products is already underway at the American Colors facility in Sandusky. Samples and product literature are available on P2’s website.
