To capture the essence of modern British aristocracy, with a unique feminine flair, is the inspiration behind the unforgettable new fragrance, Lady Avebury Eau de Parfum.
A perfect complement to her companion, Sir Avebury Eau de Toilette, the fragrance radiates sophistication, with a sly modernity and cheeky effervescence – as witty as it is dignified, with all of the hallmarks of a classic scent in the making.
Perfumers Amandine Clerc-Marie and Christiane Plos wanted to capture a fragrance full of intriguing contrasts – timeless and modern, flirtatious and stately – and decided on the exclusive floral chypre family.
This distinction makes the Eau de Parfum engrossing and original in its design, marrying the duality of citrus with the emotional heart notes of rose petals and green tea. The last two ingredients proved crucial to the construction of the scent, "I was looking for a way to embody a quintessential English experience – the tea rom – with two elements that say elegance and gentility. After all, nothing is more English than the rose, and green tea adds a contemporary feeling to the fragrance," said Plos.
The bottle, too, is a memorable object with its twelve-sided construction reminiscent of a gazebo and heavy glass adding to the allure. On closer inspection, one can see a striking engraving on the side – beautiful and ornate like those found on fine China teacups. The cap reveals a smart coat of arms and the symbol of a key, perfectly signifying the idea of nobility. In all, a perfect fragrance for the Lady of the Manor and one that is sure to be enjoyed by customers worldwide.
