Gattefossé has revealed a new clinical data for Gatuline® In-Tense MB, which is a natural origin active ingredient acting deeply in the skin. By stimulating fibroblasts’ activity, it provides support to the collagen fiber network and demonstrates anti-wrinkles effect. The new test results will be presented at in-cosmetics Asia on 5-7 November, booth M10F.
Clinical Tests- Assess Efficacy of Formulation
The objective of the new clinical test was to assess the efficacy of a formulation containing 1 percent Gatuline
® In-Tense MB on the neck, décolleté and arms of women with mature skin.
Multiple evaluation techniques were applied to highlight the efficacy of the ingredient, including:

Evaluation of skin firmness based on cutometry on the forearms

Analysis of décolleté fine lines and wrinkles based on 3D acquisitions

Clinical scoring by a dermatologist

Self-assessment by the volunteers

Satisfactory questionnaire
New Results- Reduction of Fine Lines and Wrinkles
New firming properties have been demonstrated targeting the neck, décolleté and arms. Tests’ results highlighted a significant reduction of fine lines and wrinkles at the décolleté and neck level. The skin appeared to be smoother and softer. The analysis by cutometry showed a significant improvement in skin firmness and tonicity.
