Sun Exposure & Protection
For years sun protection
and avoidance have been the strategies promoted by dermatologists, governments and industry, even though we all derive certain benefits from the sun.
The benefits of sun exposure such as vitamin D synthesis, blood pressure reduction, suppression of autoimmune disease and a feeling of well-being have been secondary to protection but are important in the promotion of good health. But can we create sun protection products that give us exposure to the sun while still providing the desired protection from UV damage?
Sun Care Technologies & Regulations
International expert speakers will discuss and explore the quality of protection, particularly the UVA/UVB/IR balance and provide an update on sun care technologies, worldwide regulations and testing including longevity claims.
