GREENTECH Opens New Facility to Increase Production of Skin and Hair Care Actives

Biovitis, a company of the GREENTECH group, inaugurated this year its second research and production site in Biopôle de Clermont-Ferrand, in addition to its historic site in Cantal.

BIOTILYS^® Improves Skin's Protective Function

The company is looking forward to seeing more high impact actives and GREENTECH ’s products, such as:

• BIOTILYS®, which repairs the lamellar structure of the hydro-lipid barrier and thus improves the protective function of the skin and,
• HAIRILINE®, a microbiome-friendly phyto hair booster against alopecia.

This will broaden Biovitis' horizons to enable further innovations in solid and liquid fermentation techniques and the production of strains under aerobic and anaerobic conditions.

Within this new facility, a 300m² laboratory and a production line equipped with three latest-generation bioreactors enable the company to produce microbial cocktails on a larger scale. The new plant produces according to GMP standards.
