DSM Collaborates to Manufacture Bio-sourced Ingredient for Skin Care

DSM-Collaborate-IngredientRoyal DSM has announced a global strategic collaboration with METEX NØØVISTA to produce a 100 percent bio-sourced ingredient for skin care products. The bio-ingredient will be first time sustainably produced on a large scale in Carling Saint Avoid, France.

Manufacture Skin Moisturizing Ingredient


TILAMAR® PDO with NØØVISTA is a multifunctional ingredient made from 100% percent locally sourced vegetable oil, improves skin moisturization, leaving the skin feeling soft and firm. It has shown proven performance and benefits such as solvent, humectant and preservative booster suitable for all cosmetic applications.

To Meet Demand for Cosmetic Grade of PDO


The multifunctional ingredient will be produced at the new state-of-the-art production site in Carling Saint Avold, France. The site will have an initial capacity of 5kT to cover the growing global demand for cosmetic grade of PDO (1,3 Propanediol). The production of this first European plant is planned to start at the end of 2020.
