DKSH's Business Unit Performance Materials, a distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, has upgraded to a new office and innovation center in Barcelona to support its rapidly growing business in Spain.
The investment includes a new, larger, state-of-the-art innovation center for personal care, which specializes in solutions and formulations for color cosmetic, active, natural, skincare, haircare, oral care, and home care applications for its valued business partners.
Strengthen Its Footprint in the Spanish Market
Covering an area of over 1,000 square meters, the new office is located at the well-known commercial center L’illa Diagonal, a modern business complex in the district of Les Corts in Barcelona. The upgraded facility aims to strengthen DKSH’s position with modern and inviting facilities to foster collaboration and an enhanced visitor experience.
DKSH Spain's new office in the L'illa complex has earned BREEAM certification for sustainability. This certification ensures energy savings, health benefits, and environmental advantages with functionality, flexibility, and durability for all partners. The workspace incorporates sustainable materials and prioritizes the efficient utilization of natural resources, complemented by modern fixtures and technologies. It features a centralized heating and air conditioning system regulated to energy efficiency standards, an osmosis fountain directly connected to taps, eliminating the need to purchase water tanks, and multiple recycling stations to encourage proper waste separation.
